9th Africities Summit

Africities is the pan-African event organised every three years by the United Cities and Local Governments of Africa. Its objectives are twofold:

• Define common strategies to improve people's living conditions
• Contributing to African peace and unity from the local level

The theme of this 9ᵉ edition will be: "The role of Africa's intermediary cities in achieving the UN Agenda 2030 and the African Union Agenda 2063". The forum will deal with multiple topics and will integrate the launch of the Charter of Local and Regional Governments of Africa for gender equality.
