D4D Hub Africa-Europe Multi-Stakeholder Forum

Africa and Europe are important partners in the digital sector and share the ambition to leverage digitalisation for inclusive and sustainable development. In order to strengthen the partnership between African and European digital stakeholders, the Digital for Development (D4D) AU-EU Hub facilitates the first D4D Hub Africa-Europe Multi-Stakeholder Forum. Co-organised by the African Union and the European Union, the event will take place online on 18 March 2022. The objective of the forum is to ensure that all stakeholders, including the private sector, governments, academia and civil society, contribute to the joint AU-EU efforts to build an inclusive digital economy and society that leaves no one behind. It will also be an opportunity for the African Union Commission and the European Commission to take stock of the status of implementation of digital initiatives and programmes.
